Frustration
I know I've seen this topic a lot, but now it is happening to me.
I'm 5 weeks post op today and for the last week and a half I've not lost a pound. Needless to say that is were the frustration comes in.
I actually lost a few and then gained them back when the doctor took me off of the water pill for my blood pressure.
The good news is that other than feeling frustrated and a little depressed from time to time over the lack of weight loss, I am actually feeling pretty good. I am getting my walking in, getting my protein in and getting my fluids in. I'm also ramping up my bike riding again and feel like I am riding a lot better since I got off of the water pill. I am actually hoping to come off another med for my bp next week, if not two more pills. That will be great.
So anyway, I know a lot of folks have stalls around this point, and I just need to relax and stay on plan and off the scale, but guys it is frustrating and I needed to vent.

A little trick that helped me to break a stall...Hard physical work. Don't push yourself to exhaustion, but consider taking on different projects around the house. Washing windows, cleaning out the car, gardening, gutters all helped me to break a stall. I think because I was using muscles that I hadn't used for awhile...It helped to break it. Brian PS For some reason exercise won't do it...Your body holds on to the weight longer...
