Good news
well I am about 6 weeks post op and had to have a drivers physical today including blood tests. The good news is my hem. a1c came back 0.1 off normal and my cholesteral was well within normal range. Since the A1C is a 90 day average the next one should be normal..... Oh and my blood pressure was LOW!!!! My G.P. was thrilled Makes the last few months worth while.

To get back to work after 6weeks I had to get a Phys from the Company's clinic too..They even wanted to see the log and notes from the surgery too .... Im also a driver and the job description says Im required to lift 70lbs.. Just that made my recoop time to 6 instead of 4weeks.I proclaimed that I just had WLS to them and strangely... the nurse there pulled me off to the side and told me very quietly that she was one year post op with a RNY..... Eventhough I dont have real med problems I was worried that they were going to find something wrong.... Dont trust the Docs that work for my Company.... Good health to you.
