My Vacation

This is how I spent my vacation last week, biking 79 mikes in 5 days.

A few things impress me with your pictures.  First of all, it was a vacation and not just a ride.  The fact that you squeezed 79 miles into the week is great.  Secondly, you appear to have been on trails which would be harder than smooth roads.  And, along those line, you rode hills.  Whew, you did all of that with a high heat index.  It's one thing to ride in the morning when it's not hot nor humid. I do want to point out to the rest of the country that it does get hot and humid in the Northeast in the summer.

I'm sure that you are aware that many organizations arrange charity rides.  They usuall provide for transportation one way and at least one meal.  But, you have to pay an entrance fee and are encouraged to get pledges for the "Cause."
