Contacting someone to whom you've posted a reply

I was thinkLing the last couple days about the guy who posted about a mass on his pancreas.  It got me to thinking--how could I contact him for a follow up?  I soon foun it was easy.  I just pick on any original post I had made, I linked to my Latest Posts, and scrolled through my posts.  When I came to my response to his post, I linked to his post and got back to the original posting.  Then I contacted him.

There's probably an easier way to explain this but I tend to be wordy anyway.  I guess I just want to say that you can link on Latest Posts to get your own history of posts as well as to find others' histories of posts.  The latter is sometimes good to enable you to get to know someone a little better before responding.  Besides, many people have almost nothing on their profiles.  I have old stuff;  I just don't update it.

I'm glad to see your post--it means you've at least been lurking here.  It's good to see an old-timer and friend post.  I hope you continues to post.  You can share your ups and downs.  Personally, I feel that sharing my failures may also help some newbies resolve not to make the mistakes that I have made.
