Has anyone been watching this new reality show on TLC?

The show  premiered earlier tonight, following  the life of "Paul" - an 800 lb.-ish British dude (no relation to our "Sir Paul", btw) - after he has lap RNY there in the U.K..      Tonight's episode was about his actual surgery and all the special preparations the hospital had to make for it, given his unusually large size.   The next show will begin his post-op journey.

I thought it was very interesting (and scary) that his surgeon said the dude only had a 50% chance of surviving the surgery ..       Surely the risk isn't THAT high, and maybe they just hyped it up a bit for the show's sake?       I also note, and take a bit of issue with the fact, that the show seems to focus on the reason for Paul's large size as being supposedly an "eating disorder" and claiming that the WLS will supposedly cure him of same ..      The pre-op "milk diet" they put him on in the hospital was also something rather intriguing  ..

Here is an article about Paul:

I think at 800lbs just falling asleep on your back is life threatening.

I watched it , i found it very interesting. Being that big, the odds of even waking up every day is 50/50
