Uh Oh!
Please help me stop freaking out. I'm two months post-op and have been working out a lot, and have had no problems, was cleared to lift weights and i have been with a trainer. I have had no problems. Yesterday I worked out and then afterwards i went to help my sister since her basement flooded. This involved picking up some boxes and containers that I doubt weighed more than 50 pounds. Today I woke up and there is a very tender spot on my left side, which is right behind one of the incisions. Did I lift too much yesterday? Should I be freaking out. It doesnt hurt unless i put a little pressure on it, but I'm worried I f'ed something up. I plan on just taking it easy for a few days and see what happens. I'm hoping this will just go away.
sounds like you tore some tissue. I would follow your plan, take it easy for a couple of days and see a doc if it doesn't get better. You have to be carefull post opp as you will feel like a million bucks, but you are still healing and your body is starving, then you over do it and BAM everything hurts.

Hold it !!!!! The same thing happen to me about 3mos out ..... Im a delivery driver and I throw some freight around daily.... I was in my trailer when I was trying to move a "water cooler sized" box side ways by hugging it and swinging it to the side and then ZING!!!! a hot burning pain!!!! just under my Left rib cage... I thought oh **** I just maybe tore a small hernia or something. The pain went away after a few hours but it would be painful if I poked at it..... Any way it went away ... told my Doc and he wasnt too excited.. I assume it was scar tissue at the incision....
