FART: First Sprint Finished
One of the goals I have had for myself was to finish a sprint triathlon.
Yesterday was that Day. Finished 35th out of 88 males with a time of 1:29:45 swim was 9:26, bike was 50 minutes (17 miles) and run was 26:39 (this was what I was disappointed in since I can run a 5K in 22 minutes). Overall, it was a great experience and I am ready to try another and beat my time.
Bread: "Today's the first day of the rest of your life."

Congratulations! Please recall that many people who were never even overweight could match your times. My brother is a runner and cyclist and sometimes he bemoans his times in a run or bicycle ride. We just point out that, at 57, he is doing much better than most folks.
Give yourself a rest and then you can get back in training for your next event.
