Wanted to wait till I had my morning constitutional to see if it would move the scales lower. Afraid not. Up four pounds this week...WTF?
Guilty of grazing and stress eating this week. GF was here till last Wed. Had a job interview last Thursday so playing hurry up and wait over that deal. Have to get back to walking etc like I should be this week.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Hey Don, how ya been buddy? I've been busier than a cat covering up it's business! Here's the short scoop:
1) Retired from the city Dec. 31, 2009, after 30 years of service
2) Started a home repair business 1 week later
3) My 80 year old mother was hospitalized in March for over 2 months with severe blood infection that settled in her spine - she nearly died - she's still trying to recuperate but will never be independent again.
4) My 86 year old mother-in-law has had 4 major strokes in the last six weeks - currently in the hospital in bad shape.
As you can see, I've been stretched to the max and no end in sight for the immediate future. The wife and I work every day, then go take care of elderly parent at night. But at least I am able to do it now - no way I could have before WLS!
I hope to get more time to check in in the future.
Take care everyone.

The scale read 224 today. Up two pounds from last week. Must have been all that food at the party Saturday.
But the scale also said my hydration (water content) is up to 72 percent. I'm usually around 50 percent. And my body fat percentage is 12 percent (That would be great if I thought the scale was measuring Body Fat Percentage accurately.)
But the big surprise was some Dockers I put on for the first time. I bought them earlier and they had been hanging in my closet for a while. I didn't know until I looked today that they were size 38.. I've been wearing size 40's. Why would I gain weight but have a slimmer waist?
Maybe my remaining fat is moving around? Or did I grow muscle?
