Hmm..question
I am 2 weeks post op and cleared for soft foods, and chicken as long as I chew it to bits lol. Why is it that I can only eat a piece of scrambled eggs and it throws my stomach into a whirlwind, yet I have no problem with a small piece of chicken? I would think where the egg was fluffier it would be more tolerated then the chicken. Any thoughts?
Don't know why, but a lot of people report problems with eggs.
They bothered me too, I didn't have any trouble getting them down, but felt sick after.
I bought some "egg beaters" (just the whites) but they were just totally gross.
I'll just stay off eggs for awhile and try them again in another few weeks.

You never know with the pouch...One thing I can say "THE POUCH RULES!!!" I remember the first six months or so it would be..."Here pouch...here is something new...Have a taste...do you like it? We'll wait a minute or two to decide...Do you like it Pouch? Good...we'll have somemore..." You just never know. One thing I can tell you is if your nose begins to run it usually mean to stop at once what you are eating...Your eating too fast or the pouch doesn't like it. Another strange sign...if you hick up it usually means the pouch is full. Don't know if you've run across either of those...but keep them in the back of your mind. Other ideas...egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad...puree them all. Maybe chicken vegetable soup also. Good luck...and ask away on the questions. We're here for support. Brian
