My pouch works.

My wife and I went to our first Major League Baseball game since 1994 today.  The sky was clear.. the temperature in the upper 70's.  I walked from the train to Progressive field without getting out of breath and my heart pounding.  And the Indians won!

We ate at a very nice restaurant after the game, so we didn't buy any stadium food. But the hot dogs sure smelled enticing! Instead, I ate (yes ate) the remainder of the three scoops of Isopure Zero Carb Protein powder I brought in a sandwich bag.  It looked like a bag of cocaine complete with a plastic spoon.  Funny... the cop who check my wife's purse for any bottles or cans didn't even mention the bag of white powder.  But I had to shell out  $4.25 for small bottle of water from the vendor to wash down the protein powder!

More good news. My pouch works.  I did finish the rib steak.. but eating some of the bread filled me up.. way up!  I had a couple of fork fulls of sauteed spinach and a little scalloped potatoes. But could eat no more.

Life if good, thanks in large part to my weight loss surgery.

Maybe I'll eat some stadium food this fall when the Indians are in the World Series.

 Wife???

Dang, your secret is out now, Herc ..  You just broke a lot of F OHer's hearts ..
(Wow, and I must say, a very hot-looking one ..     Is she a WLSer too, or "naturally thin"?)

Congrats on your "returning to the game" experience  ...  Reminds me of how the last movie I saw at a theater was Jurassic Park in  (1993?) ..   Since then, I was worried I might not fit in a seat, so I haven't been to one since.     I thought about trying it again a year or two ago after my max weight loss, but just never got around to trying it.

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "
