Welcome. And cograds on making the change.
Hope the best for you.
It will not be easy to get your water and protein in for a few weeks. I think your doc knows that too. Just follow their plan to the letter (for a few months anyway) and get the email address of someone in the office so you can send them questions. Ask them anything, and us too.
Good luck,
David

Ain't no shame in your game to post what is on your mind!  Bring it.  However if you post that your period has started or is heavier than normal then that is another story!   Good Luck Monday and follow the Mantras below!                          |

Welcome! and Congrats on making the great decision...It was one of the BEST decisions I've ever made.

I too had my RNY primarily for Diabetes and High Blood Pressure.  The weight loss is important but the combination of those two killer conditions, really helped me take the step.

I am just 19 day post op...my blood sugar has consistently been under 100 without ANY medications and my blood pressure is better than it was in my early 30's!!!

Like the other's have said before me, follow what your Dr, the Dietician, etc. tell you...take it one day at a time, and begin to enjoy a new healthier life!

Post when you can and know we are here for you!
Eating junk food and CRAP is not a reward...it's a punishment...
