Would Love A Good Crap

I just don't know what to do. I have always had some trouble in the poop department but now after surgery it is worse. I'll try something new and it will work for a few weeks then wham, back to not going regular. Last thing was scrip Miralax. I would give up my favorite food if it would help.
If anyone knows things that may work please let me know.
Other than that all else, thank you Lord, is real good.

Even before surgery.. I began having trouble because I began eating less.  There just wasn't enough "critical mass" to go as regularly as I once did.

Eventually.. I had to start trying Milk of Magnesia once a week.  That would clean me out. But I didn't like the idea of using it on a regular basis.

Stool Softeners.. my bariatric surgeon recommended one a day. They were OK. I stopped using them when I noticed a little blood in my stool

Herbal Tea called "Smooth Move". I got it at GNC or Target. It took a couple days, but it seemed to work.

A capful of Miralax in my shake once a day for about six days also got me going.  I had nothing left in me.  I am trying a lower dose maybe five days on.. five days off.

Thanks, May try that mixing it up a bit. I guess the old body gets use to stuff.

I eat a cup of fiber one cereal (120 calories and 28g fiber) every day and a cap full of Miralax every other day. This combo seems to be working for me. Good luck, it is miserable having bathroom issues.

I'll give the fiber one a try. It sounds like it would taste good too.

Linseeds work for me.  You can put them with cereal, scrambled egg and salads.  Hope you find something that moves you!

Does it tell you on the pack how much to use? I like things like that so will give it a try.

Golden linseed, a tablespoon three times a day, or whatever to get to that quantity.  I add it to scrambled egg, sprinkle on salad, on cheese on toast or porrige or over cereal.  You can even eat it on it's own.  Delicious and nutty.  All the best.

Try upping your fat intake or eating a piece, or two, of SF candy.  Satisfaction guaranteed!

The SF cand and stuff like that does come with a warning, which I would think a blessing. Will get some of that next store run.
