Why are you men so.......RUDE????
Why do some of you shout or make rude comments ONLY to overweoght women when they are with their male partners?
I have had this happen to me a few times, including today a couple of hours ago. I have had a panniculectomy, where they cut 20lbs off of my large overhanging belly, ( I have no more over hanging belly) plus I lost over 120lbs. I KNOW I LOOK GOOD..........and so does my fiancee!
But you still feel like it gives you a large "set" to make fun of the woman, and say nothing about the man who is with her when he has a bigger belly than I do????? What are ya chicken???? Or just jealous that yours are so small.........that even a woman has a bigger "set" than you??!!!!
Again, this only goes out to you mean guys. As far as you nice guys.........keep being thoughtful, considerate, and nice to all women. I know you are out there.........I am engaged to one!
Congradulations to those of you who lost weight either through surgery, or the natural way. There are lots of nice women out there who like big guys too, so don't lose too much weight!

Do you see the glass as half empty or half full? I say, what difference does it make--I paid for a full glass,so either way I am getting jipped!!!
First, I totally agree with Lynn, Miss Kitty, this is a MEN's site for Men to encourage and support other men who are dealing with their weight.
I am particularly offended by your post when you make such broad generalized statements and become so crass as to refer to "sets" then sign off with your scripture and blessing.
Before you attempt to remove the speck from your Brother's eye, I encourage you to remove the Log from your own. It's comments and hypocritical actions such as yours that give "Christians" a bad name.
If you can't be an encourager to the MEN who use this site, I encourage you refrain from posting.

If I posted on a women-only site I'm sure you'd consider me 'rude'. We can do without unwarranted destructive comments. You might find the Rants and Raves forum more appropriate. I don't believe in fairies at the bottom of my garden, Father Christmas, the god Ra or your particular superstition. I won't stuff sense down your throat as long as you keep your superstitions to yourself!
I agree with the other man and ask you to not post on the Men's Forum. I further agree with Grandpa in that you shouldn't be making generalizations about us. If you ever look over our forum--you are welcome to read it as long as you don't post comments here--you'd see that most of us are reasonable men. We do reflect a cross section of men in general. Well, that's not really true since we seem to have an uncommon number of religious men, considerate men, and family men ( some are even all three).
Personally, I don't know why I see an obese woman as different than an obese man but I do admit that I do. It may have something to do with how men and women are portrayed in the media. I never comment out loud about obese men or women. When I first had my RNY, I would try to discretely mention WLS to some strangers but they usually already knew about it and usually couldn't get it because of their insurance.
