Good news about another man and frustrations with OH

First the good news.  I have an on-line friend who came to OH around the same time as I did in 2000.  We didn't know each other then but we are kinsmen in spirit because of similar health and mental problems.  I was already getting a full occupational disablity but he had to continue to work ( I don't know how) to pay child support and keep his house.  He had a rough time of it and often held a few part-time jobs at the same time.  Well, I heard from him this week and he'g got a full time job in the tech field.  Thank You God and anyone who has been praying for him.  I don't want to break his anonymity.

Hey, pray that my wife gets a job soon since her unemployment runs out in 2 weeks and she's been out of work since 12-31-08.  In that whole time she's only had 5 interviews despite sending out hundreds of resumes.

My complaint with OH is this nonsense in trying to get on the dam thing.  I have DSL and have no problems anyplace else on the internet.  But OH is a pain as they are constantly downloading pictures.  I don't know if that's because of the avatars or pic for advertising.  I simply can't afford to get a faster connection.  And, it works everyplace except at OH.  I'll keep coming here because it's all that I have for support ( other than my direct home e-mail which I rarely give out).  Bob

The main forum takes a while to load for me but everything else isn't too bad.

If you use internet explorer you can set it to not download images. 

Both internet explorer and outlook express went down yesterday.  I called Verizon tech support this morning and they corrected the problem.  I checked on OH and everthing is fine.
