Post RNY Day 5 - Question

OK, it's Saturday morning, Day 5 Post RNY.  I really think I am doing well.  Only took the pain med at bed time last night.  Drinking my water and taking my protein 4x per day.  Added some sugar free jello and am tollerating all well.  Gas is passing and bowls a moving (TMI)...all the plumbing is hummin.

So I think I'm feeling hunger?  Do I increase the protein drink?  I'm trying to figure out what my "new" gut is telling me and how I should respond.  I don't want to push or over do.

My post op plan is to be on these protein drinks for two weeks.  I'm trying to be a good model baratric patient and be patient, but that has never been one of my strong suits.

Suggestions???

You can increase the protein drink as you see fit.  Protein is like sex - the more you get the better off you are!  If you are on liquids then remember that liquids in = liquids out.  Good to know that your new "plumbing" is responding like it should!  Just DON'T TRUST A FART!  

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
