curious woman here...
I was reluctant to answer this here in the men's forum, but it is a question about men and men's issues/opinions related to WLS so here is my answer:
A boy judges a woman by the shape of her body, a man cherishes a woman for the size of her heart.
The goal of weight loss surgery should be to improve your health not to improve your appearance alone. That said, how attractive is a heavy woman to a man if she is either in poor health or in the grave? Any man who would prefer a woman unhealthy for his personal interests would not be a man worth having in your life. Just as well, any man who would not desire a woman because she had WLS to improve her health would just be a shallow excuse for a human being.

This same question, in another form, came up (well, I'm actually the one who posed it) at a men's break out group discussion we had a few years ago at an OH main event ..
It is the usual "to tell or not to tell" question, to a date or prospective mate, about one's WLS ..
There was a female member of the OH staff that was sitting in on our group discussion (a very attractive young gal, not a WLSer herself, btw) .. She said she thought a guy letting her know about his WLS would be somewhat of a turn on, b/c she thought of it as a "vulnerability" of his, and therefore an attractive feature ..
Not sure what that meant, since I'm not a gal .. or whether the reverse would be true for a guy about a gal's WLS ..
I also remember, though, the horror story that one of our former spokespersons for OH told us about .. and how the "love of his life" literally ran out of the bedroom (and his house) the first time she saw him nude that fateful night .. The sight of all his loose skin made him apparently unacceptable to him, no matter what, after that point ..
During our discussion it came up that, with all the false rumours (and a few true horror stories) out there about WLS, regains, and such, it can be quite scary to some folks who are not into that scene .. I still think that honesty is the best policy .. Eventually that SO will come to learn about your WLS, and then they will think you were not being honest with them, or are not otherwise trustworthy .. Just my 2 cents ..
