curious woman here...

Hi guys!

i was wondering.. from a mans perspective, do you think that having WLS lessens the attractivness of a woman?  I mean the "idea" of it.... also, do you think that after WLS some women get to small? do you like to still have curves on a girl? 

i was talking to one of my friends about this and i wanted to get yalls opinons.

I am glad someone else was thining this too. I was just to scared to ask it I guess, so thanks for stepping up. I wonder if my husband will still love my body after I lose the weight, I mean after all he fell in love with a plump curvy girl. HMMM???
Well either way hun, your beautiful I dont think you will have anything to worry about. But curious to hear the male side of this myself.

I've honestly never really been attracted to fat girls.  I have dated and slept with fat girls in the past but it was only because it was who was willing to go out with or sleep with me.  I met my wife when I was fat, now I am not fat, my wife isn't petite but I would never consider her fat.  If I was single I probably would be trying to date a skinny girl because my confidence has increased dramatically with the weight loss and I find skinny womem much more attractive like most men in the world.  I am very happy that I don't have to go through that and that I have a wife that I love and who loves me no matter what size I am.

you were defintely honest..however, you didnt really answer my question. im talking about girls who HAVE lost weight through WLS... does the "stigma" of weight loss surgery make them any less attractive?

No not at all.  Skinny is skinny, no matter how you lose it.  It doesn't make it any difference.  I try not to tell anyone about my surgery.  They noticed at work that I lost like 90lbs in 6 months but I just tell them I eat healthy and work out a lot.  Its none of anyone's business how I lost the weight or how much I used to weigh.

Great question.  I'm hoping you get some great answers on here soon!  I'm quite the curious.

I know it's naive of me to think that improving out looks isn't a major reason many people make that big decision and undergo WLS. It was a big factor for me.  I think looking better can improve out social opportunities and it can remove a lot of anxiety from our day to day lives. But the more weight I lose, the more I realize how bad my health was when I weighed 500 pounds. Trying to reach a healthy weight has become my primary goal.

As far as your question goes.. I don't see why a woman having weight loss surgery should have an effect on what a guy thinks of a woman.  Now if a guy finds out that a woman has lost a lot of weight and was interested in a long term relationship, he might worry that someday she'll put all that weight back on.  Maybe if she lost the weight with the help of WLS, he may be more confident that she would stay at a healthy weight.

 I wouldnt mind if the women who i was with wanted to get wls, in fact i'd incourage it. I know it would boost her confidence and make her more happy which in turn would make me happy. Me personally dont like women too small, but what ever weight she got down to i'd be by her side supporting her and making her feel sexy no matter what. The idea that she wants to improve her health and look good while doing it is ok with me.
