First an Aw **** then a Great FART!
It's been a while since I posted anything except a few replies. I was slipping back into some old habits. About three weeks ago I got on the scale for the first time in about two months and saw I had gained 7 pounds. That freaked me out and I started re-evaluating what I was doing and found some of my old snacking habits had creeped up on me. I have stopped snacking after dinner and got rid of all the crackers and whole grain chips from my desk at work. I justified eating that crap because it was whole grain. I also got off my ass and starting riding a bike to and from work (8.6 miles round trip). I was riding an old Target Special that was my son's. After one week the bearings went out on it and I decided to buy a decent bike. I settled on a 26" Motobecane Jubilee Trail. It rides great. I also started jogging and actually ran yesterday in the Live Earth Run for Water 6K. It was the first run I have done in 21 years. My goals for the run were 1. finish the race, 2. Don't walk or stop, and most important 3. Don's finish last. Well, I attained all three goals. I jogged slow but steady the whole 6K and finished in 52 minutes. I would post a picture, but for some reason it's not letting me copy and paste here.
