Extra Skin

So I'm past goal and at my second goal but I look at my stomach and I still feel fat.  I'm down to 210lbs but still have a stomach.  I don't know how much of it is actual fat and how much of it is extra skin.  Going to the doctor in a few weeks, going to ask him if there is anything I can do about it.  Any suggestions from anyone that doesn't include plastics?  Right now plastics is well out of the realm of possiblity financially speaking.  Maybe in a few years but who knows.  I just want this extra skin gone.

Little by little my extra skin tightened up, to a point.  I would say that after 2 years post it hasn't changed, but between 1 and 2 years post it did change some.

I too am looking for an answer to this.  Although i'm at my personal goal, i feel like I still have a stomach.  My wife says it's just skin, but i feel like it it's a mix of both fat still and skin, i'm not sure, i just want it gone, then i'd be perfectly content.  I'm kinda scared of doing plastics, but I may have to, i just can't see myself living with this forever if it's not going to tighten up more.  But i'm going to give it another 6 months at least before i even begin to look the plastics route.

In the meantime, any tips from guys out there on this issue?

Don't ask me about specific brands because I am not familiar with them, nor have I tried them, but there are T-shirts and skivvies men can get that are of a controlling nature that help coral the skin.  Reportedly they are relatively inexpensive at Wally World but can get into the $100 range real quick for the better brands.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

I'm with you on wanting the skin gone.  I don't care about doing the constricting clothing.  Its when my shirt is off that I want it to look better.  I look just fine in a 1xl shirt, I just want to be able to walk down the beach and not feel bad about my stomach.

The reality is, for most of us, the extra skin is always going to be that reminder to us of the years of abuse we put our bodies through.

I wi**** were gone. In fact, I still cling to the hope that someday through the miracles of long hours at the gym it will be. But I have come to terms with the fact that I will never look like an underwear model.

One tip I would give is to continue cutting as much fat as humanly possible with cardio and keeping a clean diet and then put on as much muscle mass as you can with exercises such as the deadlift and squats. Those will help you gain lean muscle all over which may help fill things out a little better with something other than fat.

Anyone know of any drugs or creams I should ask my doctor about that will help shrink the skin?

I'm trying out a size Small Performance Wear shirt from Walmart that I got for $5 this morning, it looks better but I am not sure if I like it or not.  It is super constricting and it feels like I am just constantly sucking my gut in.  Will have to wait till tonight to see if the wife likes it better.

Shirt off, nothing's gonna help besides tucking in your skin....or of course getting it cut off.
Shirt on, I suggest a compression shirt, like Under Armour:
