I must be living right!  1.8 pound reversal this week!

Go see Dr. Kuhn Tuesday for official two year visit.  4/7 was my two year surgiversary.  Long as I'm 173, or less, on his scales I won't complain.

Not going to complain about making 2nd trip to Dallas in one week when I go to DFW Thursday to pick up the GF!  Tax season will be done and the lady CPA needs to unwind a bit.  May take her on a ride to just look at the blue bonnets and paint brushes.

91 lbs lost

Today is actually my 4 month anniversary from surgery. It is just amazing all of the positive ways my life and health have changed in such a short period of time. I've posted a new pic in my profile.

This week I'll be participating in my very first 5k. I'm going to walk but I'm still very excited.

Hope everyone has a great week.

361 : all time high 2008
311 : surgery day 5/18/09
211 : First goal met (100 pounds post op + 50 pounds pre op = 150 pounds gone) 12/26/09
181 : last week
180 : today

GOAL!!!!!!!!!  Just shy of 11 months post op. Well, actually, i'm a  little below goal at 179.6, but i like round numbers.lol    I almost teared up on the scale today (almost...lol).  A couple of years ago before I decided to look into WLS, i would have never imagined this day....i had accepted that I would be big forever....in fact, I had made up a nick name for myself... F.A.F.L.! (fat ass for life).  Now, to be literally HALF the size I was at my largest...it's simply amazing, and kind of hard to comprehend right now.

I know that the hard part of the journey begins now, maintenance.  But I'm ready for it.  My family and friends don't  understand why i'm so meticulous with counting calories and tracking calories burned still, but I'm committed to keeping track and being responsible for my eating the rest of my life.  I never EVER want to see 361 pounds on the scale again.  Life is toooooooooo good on this side of the scale!

The scale read 232 this morning.  That's a three pound loss from last Monday morning and my lowest weight in at least 20 years.  Also, yesterday marked one year since I began measuring and logging foods.  I have lost more than 200 pounds since then.

Next week I see my doc and NUT for six month post op (my appt. is a month late).  I'm anxious to see how my lab work turned out.

I only rode my bycycle about 12 miles over the weekend, but did so much walking that my heel pain has returned. So it's back to the podiatrist.

But it's a beautiful, sunny day here in Northeast Ohio. I can hardly wait to get outside.

It's great seeing these success stories on the day before surgery. Earlier today I was second guessing my decision, wondering if maybe I should try dieting just one more time. Seeing the success you guys are having has really helped reinforce that I've made the correct decision. Thanks.
Regards,
Chris
