Oak Barrell Half Marathon
I am running the Oak Barrell Hlaf Marathon tomorrow. I am about 11 weeks out from surgery and down 60 pounds so far. I was running last year at 260 + pounds. Can't wait to give it a try at 215. For anyone else out there thinking about it, you can do it. I may still use the Galloway method. Run/walk planned times. Run for 4 minutes/walk for 30 seconds. Break it down how ever you want. It works and it lessens the initial pain. I have finished 4 full marathons at those obese weights by using that method. Dare to try it, guys. Everyone have a great weekend.
