6 weeks post vsg
Start 306, current 269, target 208.
I seem to have fallen into the routine of losing weight every other week, so no loss recorded this week.
Positives:
10 inches gone from my waist no back pain Insulin down from 280 units to 110 normal/low blood pressure exercising twice a day improving sleep apnoea morbidly obese to obese happier! happier family!!!!
Negatives:
Really missing food constipation (working on it) difficulty eating slowly portion control SO NOTHING REALLY IMPORTANT!!!!!
I went in for a bypass but came out with a vsg, initially disappointed but there are really no important down sides to where I am now. Janice has started dieting as my target is just under her current weight - I wonder just how far I can rock this tool?

Sounds about normal. Yeh, go by inches rather than the scale...that can drive you crazy!! I had the low blood pressure thing too. It took awhile to get back to normal. My little trick for constipation (if you can find this in the UK)...Lifetime Liquid Calcium Magnesium Citrate...Natural grape flavor. It helps with getting in your calcium and the magnisium may help with keeping you regular. Brian PS I don't use this stuff all the time...but about 2-3 times a week. I use calcium citrate pills usually.
