Two weeks post op
31 pounds down, 65 pounds to target. Two weeks post op I'm now able to take a pureed diet. Lunch yesterday was two cheese spread triangles....stuffed! Down from 280 units of insulin to 70, not taking any tablets for the diabetes at the moment as I just throw them back up. Doctor not worried. Blood pressure normal!!! Only getting in 40 grms of protein at the moment, but it's increasing. It's great being on the LOSER'S BENCH!
Great Paul. You're new life is underway. And just wait for all the positive changes you haven't even dreamed about.

You have nearly the same stats as me. Don't worry too much about the weight, it will come off. Sometimes it will fall off and other weeks it will just trickle off and maybe even go up a pound!
The key is to look for the long term goal and stay on track. If you're doing everything you know you should be doing, the tool will work for you. If you slide off track, even a little, your results will show. The great thing is that you'll always have the surgery to keep you from going too far off track and you have us to support you.
