I'm Buzz'un

Well after just a couple small glasses of wine I can feel the effects. Sitting here with a little buzz on and wondering whatr would have happened if I had downed a couple hard drinks. I'm not a big drinker, maybe a couple beers evevr now and again and have not had much more than a sip or three post RNY but baby I'm a cheap drunk now. Glad I'm at home and not doing anything. I'm sure the remote for the TV has no idea what I'm doing. I guess it is true to make sure your first drinking after surgery is done at home and safe. Who would have known that a single bottle of wine could be good for three good times. lol

Yep, know how it is... had two Jack Daniels and cranberry juice out on the town a few weeks ago, buzzed up real good for about 2 hours... No beer here, bubbles and lap-band don't mix for me.

I can only have a sip of wine on rare occasions because of interactions with my meds.  Actually, I'm not even supposed to have that much, but I'll have just a taste when my wife starts to rave about a particular wine.

Similarly, we should all take care when the explanatory material that comes with medications cautions about trying it in a situation where you don't have to drive.  Oftentimes, new meds may cause drowsiness until you build up some tolerance to it.

Yes I'm a master of the grape.  Years of practice and vinyard travels.  Today, different story.  Cant drink during the day as I would get locked up for being "Stupid"  A couple of glasses after 8pm is all thats allowed and the bottle goes much further these days.  As in every brain damning pleasure, it will begin to level off and the buz will take a  little more effort over time
