A weird FART and my wife was NOT very happy about it!

OK guys -- I had a short repair job I needed to do in the backyard.   Since, it is kinda muddy back there I needed to change clothes from my office slacks into something suitable to work in.

Instead of dirtying up something else just for a short job, I thought I'd be nice and go "hamper diving" for something already dirty that I could just wear outside for a few minutes in the mud.   So, I found a pair of khaki's in the hamper and put them on.  It was only when I went to hook the front that I realized "hey, wait a minute, I don't have any pants with two hooks on the front".   THEY WERE MY WIFE'S PANTS and they were too big for me!

I should have kept my mouth shut but I made the mistake of telling her about it  (you'd think after 22 years of marriage I would have known better).     She has been my biggest supporter during this journey and kind of laughed it off, but I could tell she was just as surprised as I was.

She was NOT happy about that but it *did* re-energize her efforts to get rid of the 20 pounds she's been trying to lose.

CONGRATULATIONS on getting in to the wife's pants!!
(somebody was going to post it!)

Don't rub her nose into it too much though.  If you do it might be the last time you get in her pants for a while!  Know what I mean Vern?

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Yep, I *knew* someone would interpret it that way.    :)

Haven't mentioned it since it happened (and won't ever mention it again).   And we're still "good" (If you know what I mean, Vern)

Thanks for the congratulations and encouragement guys.

I've learned my lesson and will *not* be mentioning this again to her.  However, she thought it was funny enough to tell my daughter about it.  I'll let her do that all she wants -- I just won't be bringing it up.

If you were to bring it up again, she might just have to tell all of your friends how you were dressing up in women's clothing.

LOL I have been there.  My wife can't fit into my current pants now, that makes her a little angry, I just keep my mouth shut about it.
