Not posting due to internet problems

I'm having problems with DSL and will have to call Verizon.  This happens about once per year.  Can't afford a more direct connection.  Outlook Express is not affected.  Submissions may take 10 min to post.  Sometimes I'm disconnected before I even see if my submission has been posted.  I usually try once or twice per day and then give up due to frustration.

My wife takes her netbook to the local library so she can continue her job search. 

 What kind of work is she looking for, Bob?   Maybe someone on here will have some leads in your area (which metro area is your closest, btw?) ..   That's a good reason also to join your local state's forum, if you haven't already ..  We've had many members on our Texas board find work through other members' leads .. 

 btw, our local lilbrary in our 'burb has computers for free use at the facililty by members, that way you don't have to lug a computer in/out ..  I think use is limited by time, though ..
