3 days Post-OP
Hello all! I made it to the other side of the bench and what a ride!
Just some random thoughts from a dude fresh from the experience.
The worst parts for me were/are the gas pains in the shoulder - it feels like I pitched 13 innings - I am walking, walking, walking and loving my heating pad....every time I pass wind I feel like throwing a party
...and the hospital stay - the staff was awesome but I could not sleep a wink...I had an old guy as a roommate who snored and groaned all night. Add to that he was very hard of hearing so the staff would yell in the middle of the night "OK MR.BOOTH,WE ARE GOING TO CHECK YOUR BLOOD"
...other than that it hasn't been that bad - very tired - actually got weepy-eyed when I stepped back in my house...my wife has been awesome thru this and has taken a lot of stuff off my plate....every day I feel better and better...
now it is time to get in those 64 oz of water !!!
