Life is great-going trekking!
Hit the 80 lb mark today, and I feel GREAT! In fact, I just booked a trip to trek India and Nepal in April and May. I would have never done this before I lost the weight, especially at 60 years old. Too much like work. But my energy is through the roof, and has been for some time. We own an inn here in Maine, and it is a little tough being around food all day, especially now that it is high season. So far I've been pretty good. Journal everything I eat, exercise, and take my vitamins. I have been pumping some iron in addition to the walking. Nothing heavy, just to tone. I am really psyched about the trip, though. Starting in Delhi and going to Kathmandu. Can't get here soon enough.
Wow! Talk about inspiring. It sounds like you plan to scale heights I never even dreamed of. I'm 57 years old and never even considered the possibility of embarking on an adventure like you plan. Have a blast!

S.ounds like a fun trip. Wifey and I usually take 25 days in the summer and vagabond somewhere. The only tour trip was to china and no static trips. Son and I are trying to book a trip to Africa - Schedule problems
Herc you better get moving to somewhere. Lifes to short to not go on adventures
Good luck
