Welcome to the locker room.
When you have WLS you make a deal with the doctor to follow the rules. You need to get all of your water in every day, your liver is being taxed heavily because your body is breaking down so much fat. Have a bottle next to you at all times and try to take a drink every 5 minutes. I bet if you do that your urine will clear up some.
Take your vitamins as soon as you get up in the morning - you need them for your long term health, and the B12 will keep your energy up.
NEW HABITS..... You started a new life so change bad habits into good ones now while it is easiest. It doesn't get easier with time.
We are here to help but sometimes the help we need is a swift kick. We have some of them in here too.
Good luck, and I hope we hear more from you.

There could be about 5 things it could be. It sounds like blood in the urine. Top 3...Urinary Tract Infection (UTF)...very common and treatable with antibiotics. Kidney stones...since you are losing weight quickly you are more prone to high uric acid...which can lead to a kidney stone. Cancer...Highly unlikely since you were in the hospital last month and they took so much blood and checked everything, that it is probably not that. Talk to your regualar doctor to get a referral out to a urologist...Not fun, but needs to be done. Brian PS We aren't doctors so we're just guessing. You should have bright yellow...smelly urine (smells like nail polish remover...acetone). Your mouth should have a nasty taste also...metal tasting...very normal.
