Miracles do happen,.......Surgery date to replace my Knee...!!!!

Hope you are all well and moving forward in this big adventure...........!!!

I am starting on my "Bucket List" of things to do when I lose weight...!!!

One was get my knee replaced and another was , after that, start taking "kung fu san soo" lessons with my Son..........

Big News......!!!!

I was down at Stanford Hospital on Monday, met with a truly brilliant young surgeon, and I am going to have my left knee replaced on May 13th 2010...!!!

Knee is bone on bone, very crooked from valgus deformity, and is more painful than I can accurately describe........

Dig This, they are going to use an MRI image to build a knee and a template to make the bone cuts to perfectly straighten the leg and have a perfect fit customized to my bones....!!!!

Wow, the technology is off the hook..!!!

Just wanted to share, thanks for the support , my eyes are watering while I write this because I had just given up and today I have hope of a whole new life....

I haven't been able to even ride a bicycle for over a decade..........let alone go for a hike in the woods, etc.....
