Male DS Patients - Anybody Out There?

And it's easier to get the RNY approved and done.  I've been working on WLS for 3-4 years now, the last two years I spent working on getting the DS.  I finally gave up in August 09 and decided to go with RNY with silastic band. (fobi)  Amazing how I spent 2 years trying to get the DS done and I had approval and a date scheduled for the RNY in 3 months.  I'd still rather have the DS, but I am tired of fighting and gaining weight. :) 

Your experience may be quite different. Some are able to get the DS approved as easily as the RNY. It's just another reason why there are far more RNYers than DSers.
