Can't complain. Had great visit with former, now current again, PCP this week. According to his scales I'd lost 165 pounds from my highest weight on file there. He described it as loosing "a whole nother person"!
Knowing I was self pay instead of using lab at clinic sent me to the local health department to get blood drawn. Getting iron etc tested while they were drawing blood. They are a lot cheaper than what my gastric would charge me!

Great job. Geez..I lost that much in four months since surgery.. But I'm not complaining. I don't weigh in until Mondays. See you then.

Holding steady but getting in enough calories to do this is tough. I feel like I'm eating all day long.
This week was a little discouraging, not seeing much movement on the scale. I've been going back and forth with the same 2-3 pounds up and down for about 1.5 weeks. Looks like the beginning of a stall, but i'm praying not. Still doing all the same things, i know i'm not overeating, still hitting the gym 6x a week, so I know eventually it will pass, it's just annoying...especially since i'm right on the brink of 199. I so wanted to be 199 by my birthday (tomorrow), but i'm no longer confident that will happen. I actually saw 199 one day last week, then the next day it was up 2 pounds again and hasn't really moved since.......wtf. I think my water may be an issue, so i'm going to make sure I concentrate this week on getting more than enough water....as i've slacked in record keeping in that department. But for today, i'm 201 pounds. To keep things in perspective, i havent seen a weight this low in over 15 years. So for that, i'm greatful.

I lost four pounds last week. The scale read "247 lbs." this morning.
That means I have surpassed one of my goal weights... that was to weigh 250 lbs by this coming April so I could ride a bicycle without damaging the spokes and bearings.
So all I need now is for the weather to cooperate.
Also this past week, I went from a 2XL to an XL winter coat. It's great to be able to buy normal clothes.
And my "over the calf" socks... actually fit over my calf!
The charts still say I'm obese, and then comes the "overweight" category.
But as long as I continue following my doc's orders I have nothing to fear.
Onward and upward
