Extra Large FART
I reached another milestone in my weight loss journey this past week. Those black microfiber size 48 slacks that were tight a few weeks ago started feeling loose around my waist. And that size 2XL winter overcoat that was snug when I bought a couple months ago was feeling nice and roomy.
Lucky for me, I bought both items at the local thrift store. I think I paid a total of ten dollars for the slacks and coat, so it's not like I was throwing money away.
Since I seem to be losing more weight, I want out to the thrift store again in search of another coat and slacks. Well, pants with a 46 inch waist must be a popular size. In on found one pair. But I found a nice bright yellow coat that's reversible.
It's a size XL! That's amazing to me since not too long ago I was ordering 9XL clothes from a big man's store. And my waist used to be 74 inches. That's a loss of 28 inches!
Now I can buy clothes just about anywhere.
Saturday I went through my closet and gathered all the 3XL shirts and size 50 and 48 slacks. I also got the 3XL coat that got me through the early winter and stuffed them all in a trash bag and took them to the Salvation Army. I hope those clothes help someone in need. I kept the 2XL coat because it's warm and there may be more snow to shovel this winter.
