Calf muscles?
Mine, at 375, were huge. Mine at 307 are still huge.
For those that have lost 100, 200lbs, or more... did you calf muscles shrink back to "normal"? Or are you a normal sized man with huge legs?

Calf Raises (sounds like something you do in 4H club instead of an exercise). :)

Started out with a fairly low step and then moved up. Eventually started holding on to dumbbells to add some weight.
Walking on the treadmill with an incline seems to help there as well but that seems to bother my knees more than the calf raises.

Hey Lianne: Just a quick note to let you know that we really try to keep this a men's only forum. Thanks.

That is me in the yellow. I have been able to keep some mass in my legs by working them out. I think that its important to keep those muscles strong to help burn those calories at rest.
Sorry about the large picture.

I found that while I was losing weight that the muscles I used were the muscles I lost. We break them down and can't get in enough protien to rebuild them. It takes quite a while to get them back where they were. I Don't think my calf muscles changed much. Mine were large when I was young and fit and stayed that way.
