I may be getting a little nudge to stick with my program

I got news that the local branch of my Big and Tall store is closing.  I called there this morning to see where my favorite salesman is going to work.  I found out that he's retiring.  Why should this mean so much to me?  It's because they treated me with respect each time I went there.  They knew me by name even though I only went there once or twice a year.  I could just walk into the store and Fran would know my pants size by just looking at me.  By the way, I only wear jogging pants because of swelling in my right thigh--I can't get regular pants on.  I have enough nice jogging pants to last me until next winter.

I should try to lose more weight before then.  I can get shirts online, but I have to try pants on in person because of differences in manufacturers' sizing.  I thought I'd miss going to the Big and Tall, but why miss them when they're not even going to be there?  Yeah, I do use strange logic at times.  Bob

I don't miss the big and tall store at all.  60 or 70 bucks for the same cargo pants I can get for $18 at Costco. Fran is probably retiring to the islands, now that his kid has graduated from med school on your dime. I don't mean to be rude but freaking screw Fran.

Seriously!!!! I now have more cloths then both my sons together. It's amazing to be able to buy name brand T shirts (lucky brand, guess, converse, etc)...for less then I paid for one T shirt at the big and talls store.

I was never a clothes hound.  I'll probably need very large pants even as I lose weight because of severe lymphedema in my right leg.  I mean that it's so bad that when I stand up, the swollen part can actually lift most chairs in restaurants.  I will be seeing a vascular doctor about that in the next few months.  I know some therapies but getting new info can't hurt.

I do wih there were something I could do about the size of my thighs.  Currently, I cannot go shopping for pants in a regular store.  I can't even get regular pants in the Big and Tall store.  I guess that I could get custom tailoring if I could afford it.  Since I am retired, I only want nicer pants for weddings, funerals, and special occasions.  My extended family understands my problem.  Anyone who looks at me can see that I have a major problem with my legs.
