FART! My pants fell down.. TWICE! (pic)
Sorry to disappoint if you were looking for a pic of me without pants. 
No. I'm not drinking beer. No alcohol for me post op. So you ask... what does this pic have to do with my pants?
Well, yesterday my wife an I loaded up the S-U-V's and drove to Pittsburgh to help my son move into his new apartment.
While I was outside the car helping him unload his stuff, I felt a little draft in the 10 degree weather. I looked down, and lo and behold! my blue jeans were around my ankles! I looked around to see if there were any neighbors looking out the windows.. but I didn't see any. Luckily I had the pair of long underwear on that my wife bought me for Christmas.
So I cinched up my belt, and began helping my son carry the cargo inside the apartment. When I got inside with both hands full.. my pants fell down again! This time my son's girlfriend was standing right there!
I think they fell because the long underwear is made of some kind of slippery synthetic material.
As for the picture. After we finished moving in.. All four of us went to the Hofbrauhaus German Beer Hall in Pittsburgh. It was great. Lots of music and food and fun.
I chose that day as my day for a monthly "splurge". It's one of 12 days a year I eat more than the usual chicken and cottage cheese. But I only allow it for one meal and of course can only go as far as my pouch will let me.
Here's what I ate.
1 bratwurst
Half of the sauerkraut serving
ALL of the mashed potatoes.
1 deep fried pickle
I probably should have only eaten half of the potatoes and NO pickle. But for the whole day I ate about 700 calories but more carbs than I usually do.
But I have to say.. Not only did I have a great time.... a year ago at nearly 500 pounds.. there is no way I could have helped my son move without great pain and difficulty. And when I do eat my favorite foods.. I appreciate them more because I don't eat them constantly. And my waist is getting smaller too!

Reminds me of the embarrassing time I had @ a year or so out at Chili's one night. I remember getting up from my table to head toward the bathroom .. I took a few steps and suddenlyl my old, stretched-out BVDs fell down my legs to my calves, under my pants. I stopped, not knowing what to do next, with diners all around me .
I ended up just kind of shuffling funny w. my ankles together the rest of the way to the restroom, where I quickly dropped trous and pulled them up tight. (thank God they didn't come off my ankles on the way to the restroom! 
)
