You need to follow your Docs diet guildlines, protein and carb intakes.  The weight loss slow down will stop and the weight will come off. 3 meals on a saucer plate  . 3 snacks and plenty of fluids.  Thats what your new WLS diet is. If you choose to eat past being full, you'll go back to fat land

I ate the most I have since RNY last week at a restaurant.  About six ounces of fillet mignon... a dozen asparagus spears and a salad.  I was definitely full. How much I can eat, depends on how dense the food is. Meats are the most dense thing I eat. I can do maybe half of a cup of steak, shrimp, or poultry. But I have to eat slow and chew it for a long time.  I can do about three quarters of a cup of veggies and fruits. I can drink even larger amounts of liquids like protein drinks.. perhaps 8 oz or more.  But I measure and weigh everything. It keeps me honest. I agree. Talk to your surgeon or NUT.

I never ate until I was full.  Get your diet from your NUT, measure your food and only eat the amount the nut tells you to.  To break a stall you should eat less food per meal but 6 or 7 meals a day to get your metabolism screaming hot and exercise.

Be sure to eat the dense proteins first and veggies second because they are the most important right now.

Hey David,

I doubt very seriously this early out you could ha e stretched your pouch. If you ate a chicken breast you may see very quickly that your pouch is still working to your advantage. Go back to the basics of what your dietician told you in the beginning. I got a little freaked out a few months out when I ate a whole bowl of beans. I think we get so used to not being able to eat much and then all of a sudden we have a meal that we actually finish and it worries us a little. Hang in there and good luck.
