The "CrossFitCentral" Exercise Program

I saw this mention tonight in That's Fit of this dieter (an exercise physiologist, no less), who started this program w. the aid of a personal trainer at a gym, after she had lost some weight.    As you can see in her after pic - WOW   did she ever get "ripped", with a six-pack and all.     I did some searching online about the program, and it looks like it's one of those "boot-camp" type things, which they apparently conduct with several "coaches" outside against the side of a building (gym), involving "natural obstacles" as well as some that are set up ..

I wonder if it works that well for everyone?:

JUst started cross fit last evening with the personal trainer....I kept seeing horns on is head and kept calling him the devil to get through my first evening...I think he was deliberatley trying to punk me to quit or see if I would...former marine here...death before dishonor...I actually felt good after the workout 2 hours later...

I will let you guys know how it goes , but it was painful for me...but the more we sweat in peace the less we bleed in war.. I was going thorugh all of these militaryisms the whole time I was doing the exercises with the trainer right there...

We were in his gym at his loft space...boy ... I like the idea of being fit and not just being lighter..

That sounds like the usual with the program, I'm finding out, DG ...   One gal I heard about said she quit after she was being pushed so hard by the trainer she was throwing up ..

I found a video somewhere online where they filmed parts of the progam in Austin , and it looked pretty "challenging" ..

  Hang tough!

I particularly like this program , after only one session , because it will get easier and shorter over time..if all it takes is less than 20 minutes a day to get fit , I am all for it...

But my trainer wasn't pushing me as hard as I was...so I will stick with him...

my problem is that I have had all the tests in the world done showing working out hard isn't going to kill me...heart stress test, labs showing cholesterol and everything under control , you name it , so I know I aint gonna fall over dead from this... the workout took me 22 minutes... supposedly, as I get more fit I will do it faster...I love the idea of  eventually working out for 4 minutes and staying fit...
