MY STORY: imthebiggestloser.blogspot.com/
Oops .. yep, I just saw the profile pics .. That's what we're supposed to look like, alright! ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/embarassed.gif)
Dang, you just gave me an idea ..
I might actually be able to not scare off a g/f, pre-PS, so long as someone brings her into the bedroom while I'm laying on my back, just before turning out the lights .. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/lol.gif)
btw, have you discovered your "alien" yet? That's what one post-op called the xyphoid process bone, the little piece of bone that sticks down from the lower center of your breastbone, covering the lower part of the heart. After weight loss, that bone becomes "prominent" once again, with the fat over it now gone. It got that OH name from a gal on the main forum who said she found hers one day after running her hand across her lower chest, and thought it was like that little alien that was about to burst out of that astronaut's chest in the movie.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/eek.gif)

Yes, I am well aware of my alien, its just wierd to me. I find myself grabbing onto it like a handle when I lay on my back, it intrigues me. Its real fun when you get to the point that you can start to see your hip bones from the front. I'll be glad when I get some of this lose skin taken care of. I think I need to drop my goal weight down to 205 instead of 225.
Well, when coming up with a "goal weight" figure, keep in mind that for those of us that have lost about 200 lbs. we will probably end up at least 20 lbs. lighter after PS, due to the loose skin removal. The surgery itself will also sometimes "re-kick-star"t a losing spell, for additional lost poundage. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/horseback.gif)
Have you been looking at any particular PS surgeons yet? I was so intent on using Dr. Kuster in Brazil, since I will be cash pay, but then I saw his new updated fee chart for 2010 last week, and some of his prices are now as high or higher than for similar work here in the U.S. (e.g. $3,500.00 for manboob removal) ..
So now I'm looking at options in Costa Rica and Mexico .. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/juggle.gif)
btw, speaking of the "alien", some post-ops are so perturbed by it that they can have it shaved down in a PS procedure ..

I hadn't really considered plastics...can't really afford it. I had to save for quite a while when getting the money for my share of the insurance cost. Right now my wife and I live off of just my income while she is in law school.. When she is done in 2.5 years, thats a different story, so basically I have the next 3 years or so to try to tighten it up on my own.
