Warranted Concern? Not sure...

As I write this, I feel like I'm asking a stupid question... but whatever.

Did anyone feel "full" on the "full liquid" diet phase?

I fell like I am pouring liquid protein, sugar-free popsicles, puddings, and jellos, even fat free milk down my throat virtually nonstop without any consequence from the pouch.  It's sort of worrysome.

I half expected to eat a cup of jello and feel stuffed.

Your thoughts!

Take Care & Good Luck,
Jason

To answer your question - no.  It'll get better when you move up to puree/soft foods.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

I"m not an RNY guy so please forgive me if I'm wrong. I think it's normal for the liquid diet to not be very filling. Your pouch has a hole so the juice would run right out. Even jello would turn to juice pretty quick after hitting the stomach. The point is to give your new pouch a chance to heal.
Again if I'm wrong I apologize, but I'm pretty sure I'm correct.
Welcome to the losers bench and I hope your on solids soon.

The nerve endings have not regrown yet so you shouldn't have any full feelings yet.  That is why we measure our food when we get off of the liquid diet.

Yeah, no nerves to tell you that you are full pluse the liquids pass right through your pouch. That is why we are told not to drink for 30 minutes after eating, that is to allow the food to hang out in the pouch for a little while so we can absorb the good stuff.

Yeah, I stayed at Motel 6 last night :)
