Well I've hit rock bottom and had my surgery about 4 years ago.  I lost a lot of weight then was laid off in February.

I have gone into a deep depression due to lack of jobs, financial reasons, and no motivation.

I'm trying to get out of it but I didn't realize how much weight I have gained back!

It's sad to say but now I need clothes to go to interviews.

3xl shirts, sweaters ect

44-46 size pants

What a waste this year has been.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Jamie

Jamie,

You and about 13.4 million of your closest friends are in that boat!  It gets very stressful engaging in what often time looks like a lesson in futility when it comes to job hunting. I'm preaching to the choir I know but hang in there.

Can't help you on the clothes.  Have you tried the thrift stores?

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Hey Jamie,

That's a rough thing you are going through. If I had clothes to give I would send them in a heartbeat. I thought I would comment on the last couple of lines in your post. "What a waste this year has been". In retrospect, it is the tough patches that have molded my character the most. The only way this year will be a waste is if you do not learn and grow from these adversities. Chin up brother, things are going to get better... Difficulty is inevitable, misery is optional

I feel your pain, it is like we can't have our cake and eat it too.

My business was doing really well when I weighed 360lbs but now we are having trouble making ends meet, business is off bottom line sucks and can't cut anything else.

Just keep your head up and know that things will get better, it seems like it always does.

I don't have any clothes left in your size range, sorry. But don't let your weight go sour, stay focused on keeping the weight off, don't throw away the last 4 years. That is my biggest fear now after just 13 months. I see other people in our local area that have had WLS and most of them have gained a lot or all of their weight back.

Work hard, and keep a positive attiitude.
