Just right for the holidays.  I have lost my taste for all foods.  Am forcing my proteins in and threw out a great tuna salad.  No appetite.  Will see how long this last.  Anyone else go into this mode??

I appreciate your post.  I made kick-ass chile today and will make meatloaf Sat.  I hope this will cure me. Got new labs in and all is well.  This must be a thang we go through
Good luck

Not 13 months post op for damn sure. My appetite has been pretty close to normal since about 3 months out.

I don't know whether your situation is a blessing or something to worry about.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

I posted on the main forum a few days ago an article about how many lbs. people typically gain over the Holidays (actually, it turned out to only average about one pound, per the medical journal study!) ..   I was surprised at the post-ops though *****ported they actually lose weight during the Holidays, even the ones that are past their "honeymoon period"  ..  I wonder why that is, and suspect it may b/c so many of the foods around them are not WLS-friendly at that time or actually make them nauseous to think about eating ..

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "

yea you might want to call your surgeon if this continues...you're over a year out and shouldnt really be struggling to eat...if you didnt have problems in the past and it's a pretty rapid change that could be indicative of a problem...
