Would the Men's forum like to have a voice?

Hi Guys,

I respect your forum and don't come here unless a member is in need of your help. 

Just wanted you to know we have a monthly newsletter that goes out to our members once a month.  If you don't get it and are interested, click, My Account, Contact Preferences, and Newsletter Preferences.  One of the features is a post called "Members Speak".  Your replies could appear in the OH Newsletter.

I have not been posting the questions here, but would love to have your voices heard on the different issues and questions.  Some are serious and some are just for fun.

Let me know if you would like for this sticky to appear here for a couple of days at the first of the month and I will be glad to do so.  If you guys don't want this, then let me know and I will respect your space!

Kathy, you have always been fair with us.  Some men may not be aware that you occasionally post here about men who may need our help and you usually provide a link for contacting them.  Since you are aware of how some men bristle when a woman posts here, I do suggest that you put a sticky at the top of the Men's Forum.  That would make it about 5 of them.  Anyone coming to our forum can look at any one of them or ignore them all.  I think that your individual post probably riles some men until they realize that you are from Member Services.  Hey, that's the reaction I got until I realized you are from Member Services and I have corresponded with you in the past.

Thanks for the advice.  I would love to add the voice of the Men from the Men's forum for Members Speak.

As you said there seems to be a ton of sticky post right now.  I will wait to post this after the first of the year as a sticky post, and let the guys decide if they want me to do this here.

Speaking of sticky notes, what happened to our one for OH Magazine, asking us to nominate members who inspire us?     I wanted to do that this week, as I htink one of our fellow MF members has a GREAT success story to tell.        Is OHM no longer going to do profiles of inspirational members?

They usually leave sticky posts up for a certain time to notify members of new information.  If you have a member to nominate contact [email protected] and she will make sure your nomination gets forward.

This month we are having a huge give away.  Go to my account (in the upper right hand corner) click Contact Preferences, and then 2/3's of the way down click the box where it says Newsletter Preferences and it will come to you via email around the middle of each month..
