This is the Men's Forum--Only Men should post here
I understand that all forums in OH are open forums--and anyone can read them. Although we men cannot stop women from posting here, we ask you to respect our wishes and let us discuss our issues among ourselves. This is the only forum dedicated to men. If you have comments to make, make them on the Main Forum or on any other forum.
It is hard for men to find this forum. I've been coming here for years. Men can discuss things here that they get heckled about on other foums. These include pains we experience--we are so tired of women saying it's nothing like childbirth. Hey, we'll never know about that so it's a moot subject. We do have problems that we want to discuss with other MEN. I've also found a comraderie here among both straight and gay men. The thing that draws us together on this forum is that we are men. We are young and old. We are of various faiths or no faith. We are of various political parties. We are Men.
I realize that one of the attractions of this forum is that it moves fairly slowly. what you see posted today may still be on the top page in the forum for a few days. Another attraction is that most of the Men usually talk about WLS, exercise, and food. I know that women have feelings about these things. I just don't want to read about them on the Men's Forum.
By the way, I am almost 60 and married. I've actually had an RNY on 11-14-00 and a revision RNY on 01-21-05 due to a staple line disruption. Anyone who wants to contact me about my getting a revision should send me a PM. I consider myself to be a mild-mannered person. I don't want there to be any controversy on this forum.
So, please respect our wishes. Since there are easily over 150,000 ( way over) women on OH, I realize that the vast majority of them respect our wishes. And, I thank them from refraining form posting here.
