I agree.. 81 pounds ain't too shabby. And exercise is important. I have to do it to keep up the weight loss. I also weigh, write down, and add up all my food each day. It takes some time. But for me it's been working.

whats up dave, you should be proud to say you lost 81 pounds in 4 months. you will continue to lose the weight in spurts , sometimes 1 or 2 pounds a week and then sometimes more.just relax and let natutre take its course.just make sure to eat healthy and get some walking.hey remember that you did not gain the lbs overnight so they will not come off overnight. another thing is that if you lose the weight slowly it actually give your skin time to adjust and you wont get the saggies. when i started i was at 305 back in march , i am now at 195 and i had the same thoughts as you but i realized the points and kept it moving. one other thing is DO NOT BECOME A SLAVE TO THE SCALE.it wil drive you crazy. talk to you soon . Your doing fine. Two things that helped me get down there...light exercise...you don't have to go hog wild on it...just get some in. Your weight is down so you can move better...it makes it easier to get the exercise (of whatever kind) in. The other thing that helped me to drop the weight...hard physical work. For some reason doing chores around the house or cleaning the car helped me to drop the weight like nothing else...go figure...
Your weight loss is fine. If you don't have a sedentary job, you may be getting the exercise you need at work. Otherwise, follow the usual reccommendations about parking further from the entrance to a store/mall so you'll increase your walking. My favorite exercise is walking in a swimming pool (if you are in a warmer climate, you may be able to do it in a lake, bay, ocean, or river). This is an exercise that is easy on the joints--you can also get resistance water weights to increase you efforts. Remember that walking and using light weight are inexpensive ways to get exercise. If you tend to watch a lot of TV, try at least getting up during commercials and doing any kind of activity such as walking from one end of the house to another or simply walking in place--mark time-. If you spend time playing video games with your kids, plan on having exercise breaks with them. Let them know that they can help you get better by exercising with you. Note: exercising with them can just be physical games appropriate to their ages.
81 pounds!!!
That's great for four months. I'm at seven months and am at 109. One thing I've learned is that everyone loses weight different. Just keep up the good work. I to don't always excerise like I should. I get my walking/running in, but no strength training. That's something I need to work on.
Keep up the great work!!!

Congrats on your weight loss and 80+ lbs is great!....
Now here it comes.....YOU HAVE TO GET UP AND MOVE! Really brother.....If you do not develop good habits now by exercising, you won't be successful. I'm almost 4 years out and let me tell you, it's all up to me and if I wanted to, I can eat and gain the weight back! I've chose to live healthier and establish good eating and exercising habits.
To answer your question: You have to exercise!
