I've noticed no less than three posts by the opposite sex on the current page, and yet no one has attacked them or told them to get off the MF, as has always happened before ..

Like the folks who go back packing with a GPS tracking device and trigger it when their "emergency" is needing help for a blister on their foot.

I was just thinking of something similar the other day .. I had overheard a young couple who sounded nervous about taking a road trip into an area where they weren't sure whether their GPS or even cellphones would work properly ..
Geez, back in my day we didn't have EITHER .. I guess this generation would be terrified of the thought of traveling "bare" like that .. If their car broke down they might have to flag down a passing motorist, or actually walk to a stranger's house and ask to use their phone to call for a tow truck ..

I understand the usual response in this forum. I prefer to send a PM to any offending females explaining why we want only men to post here. One thing we must deal with is that all of the regular forums in OH are open forums. Anyone who belongs to OH can read them and post to them. The fact that we get an occasional posting by a woman shows tremendous respect on their part. Remember that there are well over 150,000 women who belong to OH. We don't know how many of them read our forum. I want to thank all of the women who do read our forum and respect our wishes and refrain from posting here. Remember, when you come to the Men's Forum, there is not a blue sticky on the top of the forum asking women not to post here.
I think we can kindly ask individual women not to post. Sometimes it helps to do it in the body of our discussions so that many women get the message. However, I see no reason to be mean about it. Most of us have mothers, wives, girlfriends, or other women in our lives who might be appalled at some of the remarks some men make to discourage women from posting her. Just a simple statement that this is the only all male forum in OH and that we only want men to post here should suffice. Bob

I haven't been on the forum as much the last 2 months due to personal cir****tances. But I am back. If you look at my post on "Doc, NUT and shrink rules. Do you obey? " you'll see my reply. I am so sick of everyone being "PC". I know I'm still a probie but I've been on here for eight months and would not have stayed if it hadn't been for the men's forum and being able to talk to other men. If I wanted a womens opinion I would just ask my wife. Not the whiny posters on the main forum.
