Hi - I might be able to help..... I work for the County of Santa Cruz. I see you are in Santa Rosa, so it is not that far. I work in IT for the welfare agency, so I don't work out in Adoptions, but I do hear that they can't find anyone to adopt kids unless they do it for the money from the County. Scott have You considered adopting from another state. I have had my daughter since she was four months old. Here in Florida they are pushing adoption even giving the kids a free college education regardless of family income. The process was long and frustrating but it is Worth it. Kids need love and the love they bring is priceless.
