It's important to not just look at what you take, but when.

You shouldn't take calcium for a couple hours before/after taking iron (check your multi-vit, if it has iron this applies there as well).

My doc has recommended 15-1600 as my goal for calcium (I forget off hand if it's measured in mg or iu), but you also shouldn't take more than about 600 at a time. So I do three, 200-unit citrical petites in the morning, 3 at dinner time and 2 later in the evening. I do my multi-vit and b12 around lunch time (even tho my bariatric advantage multi doesn't have iron, figure it's a good habit to build, if I need to add iron, I'll do so with the multi). I also swap out the bariatric advantage calcium chews at times for some of the pills, and am looking into ordering some of their calcium crystals that you can put in water.

I'm 7mo out and waiting to hear on my first blood work results from last Friday...so we'll see if this needs adjusting then or not.
