Old habits die hard
I got busy today and skipped a couple meals.. I tried to make up for it this evening and ate some turkey breast. But I ate too much too fast and it got jammed in my chest. I suffered with what some call the "foamies" for about twenty minutes. You think I would have learned about poultry after having this happened twice before. Luckily it didn't last an hour like the first time. I guess it's all part of the process.

A major problem for me is getting off of schedule, catching up is almost impossible.
Every October I go on a week long bowhunting trip with 11 other guys. We make deer drives all day long every day, Im sure we walk 10 miles a day through the thickest swamps and steepest forests known to man. Many times we don't make it back to the trucks for over 8 hours and I miss lunch. Even though I have my snacks along it just isn't enough. When we go for supper the other guys can eat enough food to sustain the calories that we burned, I can't. I take as much of my meal back to my room as I can and get up in the middle of the night to fini**** but even that is half of what the others ate. By the end of the week I am down 5 or 6 pounds and just plain wore out. Catching up is hard to do, but I would rather be wore out than get the foamies. LOL

I did the same thing the other day, I normally can handle turkey and chicken, but my son had a fund raiser and sold smoke turkey breast and I picked one up from school at 3pm, grab a couple of pinches off the top on the way home and before I got there I started throwing up and it lasted for almost 3 hours. Not sure if I want to test turkey again or not.
