need a butt kick'n
I have been so good at staying on the program, but this week I have totally blew it off.
I have eatin to much candy, not a lot, but I should know better. I have worked out more to pick up the extra calorie intake.
So what I need to know is how after a year and losing 210 lbs, do I get back on track?
thanks for your help

You get back on track one day at a time and one choice at a time. So you slacked off for one week? That doesn't mean you're a failure. That one week doesn't put all the weight that you've lost back on. You know what you should and should not do. Now it's up to you to do it. One off week doesn't make you a failure......many off weeks will put you back where you once were.

You know what to do! Man up and do it! You know that you can. Now go forth and sin no more.Do three shakes a day for a week and all will be forgiven..... Oops did I spend too much time actually paying attention that summer my parents sent me to the seminary?

Only being six weeks from RNY you may not think I'm qualified to respond. But from what I have read from the other guys here... many feel that measuring and writing down your food will keep you honest about your intake. AND kick those sugary foods in the butt. Only eat enough complex carbs like whole wheat bread and oatmeal to give you enough energy for your workout. Just my opinion.

What I usually do when I find I am picking up a few pounds is go on protein shakes for a day or two and then I pay close attention to each meal I add. Trying to make better choices. I don't do it for the weight loss part as much as getting my mind set right. Works for me, your mileage may vary.
